Can you help with the name of this exquisite restaurant outside of Paris?

Jump to last reply

Has it been 20 years already since I was last in Paris?! When I was last there, I had the gastronomic pleasure of taking a group of my business colleagues to a highly rated restaurant recommended by the concierge of the hotel where I was staying. It is outside of Paris and was supposedly a stopover for King Louis on his way to Versailles. It was just exquisite from the ambiance to the food to the service. As I recall, it had very tall ceilings and a French provincial type of décor, but I cannot seem to find this restaurant from searching the various guides on the internet. If this description triggers any ideas from you, can you please post them here? I’m planning another trip (finally) to Paris and would love to dine there again. Hopefully it has the same great cuisine as it did 20 years ago. Thanks in advance for your help!
