Can I find Napoleon's bust in Provence?

Jump to last reply

Hello Fodorites, I am hoping you can offer some advice.....
My 25 year old son is obsessed with Napoleon ( and Caesar and a few others most 25 year olds have never heard of..lol) and would love to purchase a bust of the great man.
As you might imagine, this item is not commonly found in Australian flea markets (!) but we are returning to Provence in a few months and wonder if it is worth keeping an eye out for one there?

I don't mean a genuine $$$$ antique but maybe $1-200 ? Whilst we have visited and enjoyed many Provençal markets before, we have never really been 'antique' shoppers and haven't been looking for this item.

Maybe L'isle sur Le sorge perhaps or am I dreaming? Any advice would be most welcome.
Thanks, oz
