Can Fabes Rooms
Hello All,
My boyfriend and I will be in Barcelona in September- We have made a reservation with Can Fabes to eat a lunch, dinner spend the night and then have breakfast. We are so excited and have read so many great reviews about the food. I was wondering if anyone had any reviews on the rooms??
Thanks so much!

s_hart,
I haven't seen the rooms because when we had dinner at Can Fabes we were staying at the Mas Ferrer in Gualba, about a 10-15 min. ride away. Although the Can Fabes rooms are quite expensive, I can't imagine the experience being anything less than that of the restaurant itself (if your budget will allow it). Our dining experience was extraordinary-truly memorable.
But...If you wanted to save a considerable amount on lodging (and if you have a car), staying at the Mas Ferrer, a beautifully restored 13th century home, is a lovely experience as well, and it has a pool. Lunch there was simple but very elegant and quite impressive in quality.
But I sense you very much want the entire Can Fabes package-a total luxury! Have a great time!

Maribel,
Thank you so much for responding! There are two reasons we decided to stay there- one we dont have a car, and 2) the package we took is called the Gastronomic Forfait for 2 which includes a lunch, dinner, one night and breakfast for 785 Euro!
Do you like the town Can Fabes is located in?

Hi s_hart,
Wow! Your package sounds wonderful!
The town of Sant Celoni seemed to me nothing to write home about, but it's not unpleasant either. We just went in for dinner and did touring of the Montseny Nature Park in our car. You can reach Sant Celoni on the C2 Cercanías train from Sants station in Barcelona.
You can get the schedule at www.renfe.es, clicking on Cercanías, then Barcelona.

Me again,
If you take the C10 cercanías train from the airport to the Passeig de Gracia station, you could then switch to the C2 to Sant Celoni. Or just taxi from the airport to the main Sants station and take the C2 directly from there.
