Camino de Levante -- help in Valencia?

Jump to last reply

I am tentatively planning to walk the Camino de Levante, from Valencia to Santiago de Compostela, next May. My understanding is that the best (and perhaps only) guidebook is the one published by the Amigos Association, http://www.vieiragrino.com/

The book is sold by the association in their office, but their office is only open on Friday evenings during the month of May, which is when I will be starting. I am hoping I can arrive on a Friday, but my date will depend on forces beyond my control.

I have also read that the book is available in some Valencia book stores. Has anyone ever seen it?

I can order it and have it shipped, but the shipping charge plus the bank transfer charge plus the conversion charge triple the cost of the book.

So if there is anyone in Valencia who might be willing to help me out, let me know. I'd appreciate it enormously. Thanks!
