Thanks to a post I read earlier today, I have just discovered www.metropoleparis.com
The site is great fun and Im enjoying the writing style.
Has anyone gone to one of their weekly meetings in Paris? The site is a kick, and the club meeting looks like fun.
Anyone attended?

Haven't joined this group, but did attend a Fodor crowd for drinks, and it was great fun. Live a little, right?
We have been to several, last spring and this Sept. They are held at the Corona Cafe, on the same block as La Semaritaine dept store - quai du Louvre, Thurs. 3 to 5 p.m. Very informal - you can arrive and leave anytime - with Ric, who writes wonderful articles for the site, throwing out a few questions and taking notes. It's a great chance to meet visitors and ex-pats living in France and learn of their experiences there. Order carefully if on a budget [my large coke was $6] buy I made it last for the whole meeting.
