Yes it has been open since July 2010. Entrance fee is 80 Kuna and you can use a credit card. Last year they were not accepting Euros, it may have changed but I doubt it. I will be able to have a definitive answer after next Sunday. Stay tuned.

I assume that is the cable car that my son and I took last September. The views are fantastic. It was really cold and windy the day we were there. There is a restaurant up there also. Came in handy for hot chocolate.

I'm not exactly sure of the direction, but we walked to it. We asked at the tourist office right at the beginning of the old town entrance. I'm thinking we walked out of the entrance and to the right. Be sure to walk the walls around Dubrovnik. It was hot the day we did. But lots of photo ops.

Our lodging is actually close to the old town gate.
Thanks I would love to do it..
We are staying a week in Dubrovnik and we want to explore or take few day trips in Montenegro, Ston and Korcula and to the islands.
