Expect to pay about 15 euro. There's also a shuttle minibus you can book online that's cheaper, about 10.5 euro for two people.

I believe BLL has also said that the bus system on the island is good. BLL: will it be easy to navigate the bus from Oia to the airport? We're arriving by ferry and plan to take the bus from the port to Oia. I know you've described this before, but a refresher may be helpful.

For the bus it depends on when you plan to be there. The bus system is very good, but the airport bus is the one weak link before and after high season there are only a few buses that stop at the airport on the way from Fira to Monolithos. They're supposedly scheduled to coincide with the most common arrival/departure times at the airport but I don't rely on that and just plan to spend a little extra for a taxi. From Oia to the airport, using the bus schedule here: http://www.ktel-santorini.gr/ take a bus that gets to Fira about 1.5 hours before your flight and catch a taxi the rest of the way for about 10-15 euro. The bus from Oia to Fira takes about 25 minutes. You can also book the same transer service indicated above to take the hassle out of the trip, or have your hotel arrange a taxi for about 25-30 euro.
From the ferry port get on the port bus, which automatically takes you to Fira for 2 euro each. Wait for the next bus from Fira to Oia for 1.4 euro. Get on the bus and someone will come to you to collect your money.

Thanks again, BLL. I can see on the bus company's website that it says "Summer Timetable" but no definition of the season. We will be there at the end of Sept. so we're probably right in that gray area. I'll copy your recommendations this time so I don't have to ask again!

What will happen during that 'grey area' time is the bus company will evaluate the demand and temporarily adjust the timetable accordingly before slipping into Winter mode, which is similar but not as frequent, and more than likely the adjustments won't show up on that website but will be posted at the main bus stops in each village. Bus service stops about 8:30 PM in the off-season.
