Buying Scrovegni Chapel tickets & Padova Card together

Hi, I'm trying to buy the Scrovegni Chapel tickets together with the Padova Card (for my parents) via the Scrovegni Chapel website. Can someone walk me through this process?

http://cappelladegliscrovegni.vivati.../?Language=ENG

If I don't buy the Padova card but just buy the chapel tickets, once I click the buy link, I get the calendar and can choose the date for the visit.

However, if I click on the Padova card link,
I get this
http://cappelladegliscrovegni.vivati...index.php?nvpg[tour]&id=916&wms_op=scrovegni
(hope the link works)
I assume I want the 2nd option?
PADOVA CARD 48 H - 1 INGRESSO SCROVEGNI

Then when I click BUY, I have to register first (which I haven't done so yet). After I register, will I get to pick the date/time I want the Scrovegni Chapel tickets? Also, I need to buy 2 (for my parents), so does that mean I have to do the same process twice? Doesn't seem to be an option where I can choose 2 tickets...

Any input would be most appreciated!

I'm going to buy tickets, too. If we get some good instructions here soon, I will be happy, but if not, I'm going to go ahead in any case. I will report.

I don't think I want to the Padova card, because we want to see the Scrovegni Chapel and St Anthony Basilica, and hopefully to wonder about and maybe see some of the nice stores that I've heard about in Padova.

Im going to explore your links. Will be back.

I recall that I asked the hotel to get the chapel reservation, and also the card for us. I believe we walked to the chapel to get the card (since we didn't have the card yet, we couldn't take the tram!) but that was no problem. Hope this helps, it's not really what you asked.

There are some fabulous shops in Padova.

I was shocked that a number of the shops were more elegant than many you see on Madison Ave./60's.

Padova is a college town, too. Lots of students in the cafes near Scrovegni Chapel.

I figured it out and bought the tickets & Padova card for my parents. The website and instructions are really not user-friendly.

First I had to register for an account on vivaticket, then you have to activate your account via the email link they send you. (Since I was using my parents' email address to sign up, I had to wait until they activated the account before I could proceed. And of course, with my parents being technology-challenged, my dad kept telling me he didn't receive such email. Luckily they are visiting us right now so I could look at their email account and found the email.)

Anyway, after you registered, you can then go to the 2nd link I provided above, and click on "buy" the 48h padova card. You then get to choose the # of cards you want to buy. Once you place the cards in your cart, you then can pick the date/time of your Chapel visit. (But the website is difficult to navigate and a bit counterintuitive).

Thanks, yk. I did register but have yet to activate my registration. I'll do that tomorrow and proceed.

This past July we walked to the Scrovengi Chapel and bought same day tickets. They sell them in groups of about 15. After the visit we walked to St. Anthony's Basilica.

We really liked Padua and our hotel was great. We stayed at the Hotel Verdi in the old quarter.

On the Piazza dei Signori the square is filled with dining tables at night for dinner under the stars. There are several restaurants and bars that serve dinner and it looked really nice. My wife was not too interested in dining outside without an umbrella so we ate nearby. The gelataria Ciokkolate Gelataria Artingnale on the piazza is excellent. The nearby Osteria Del capo was small and excellent. We also ate at the Osteria Corte dei Lioni and it was excellent, as well.

Buon viaggio,
