Buying AVE train tix upon arrival in Madrid

Jump to last reply

I gave up on getting the Renfe tix online for our upcoming trip in 5 weeks.
We are a party of 3 (adults) and still don't have anything for the domestic legs...I'm starting to get nervous now as I always/prefer to plan ahead and have things ready in hands.

Yes, the train ride for Seville/Cordoba to BCN costs more than the airplane. But DH prefers the train (for hassle wise).

The plan is to take the AVE trains for the following:
Nov 1: (early evening) MAD to Seville
Nov 4: either Seville to BCN, or Cordoba to BCN

Rather than paying extra money to purchase the tix on the Rail Europe site, do you think we can purchase these tix at the train stations when we arrive in Madrid?
Anyone know? Pls help :-)
