Butzbach from Frankfurt

Jump to last reply

This is my first trip to Europe -
I'll arrive in Frankfurt and I'll have two days there before heading to Nuremburg and then off to Berlin. The first day that I arrive in Frankfurt I plan to just explore Frankfurt and get my bearings about me as far as understanding the transit system and how the streets function and I'll probably nap of course :)
The second day however, I'd like to spend the afternoon in Butzbach - I know I want to see the Roman Way housing as that is where my grandma lived and my mom as an infant. I would also like to see the market place in city centre. Is Butzbach a town that can easily be explored by foot in one afternoon (I was thinking of buying my train ticket round trip 10:00a.m. (10.00) to 8:00p.m. (20.00)
