we will be staying at a gite in St. Jeannett NW of Nice - we would like to figure out the bus route to say the Old Town area and the brocante site in Nice from St. Jeannett. I think we start on Line 55 but what switch is needed to Nice.
Then line 100 to Monaco to sightsee in the afternoon or so, And back to Nice and on to St Jeannett.
I can't figure out the on and off stops to use - any help would be appreciated!!

Are you looking at http://www.lignesdazur.com/presentation/?rub_code=71 for bus 55 and http://www.cg06.fr/fr/servir-les-habitants/deplacements/transport-collectifs/lignes-et-horaires/lignes-et-horaires/ for bus #100 to Monaco?
Which stop do you need help with? St. Jeannet, Nice, or Monte Carlo?
If you look at this map: http://www.lignesdazur.com/ftp/plans_EN/Nice%20NCA%20%2835d%29bdef2011.pdf, the bus 55 only goes to Saint-Laurent-du-Var train station which is just west of the Nice airport.
So there seem to be several options.
1. St. Jeannet to St. Laurent du Var by #55, then SNCF train to Monte Carlo via Nice Ville station.
2. St. Jeannet to St. Laurent du Var by #55, then one of many buses to Nice Airport, then Nice Airport express to Monte Carlo.
3. St. Jeannet to St. Laurent du Var by #55, then bus to Nice Gare Routiere bus station, then bus #100 to Monte Carlo.
I think we will be fine getting a bus in St Jeanett to St Laurant - then to Nice is a question to what bus stop to see the old town and Brocante.
then what stop to get #100 to Monaco to best stop to sightsee there. and back to Nice and on to St Laurant to St Jeanette.
For Nice, you will be using the main bus station called "Gare Routière." It is next to the old town.
Here is where it is located:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=43.699267,7.276914&hl=en&ll=43.699263,7.276919&spn=0.008346,0.019569&num=1&t=h&z=16
Look at Lignes Azur map from my previous link and you see that many buses start/end/or stop at "Gare Routière" including many buses from Saint-Laurent-du-Var station.
The bus stops tend to move often. "Place d'Armes" is one of the many "likely" bus stop locations in Monaco. It is best if someone who has just taken the trip confirms the location. According to the timetable from my previous link, #100 uses 6 bus stops. Here is (was)Place d'Armes bus stop.
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=43.732267,7.418651&hl=en&ll=43.732639,7.421157&spn=0.007861,0.015707&num=1&t=h&z=16
If you are near the Monte Carlo SNCF station, the train runs about every 30min to Saint-Laurent-du-Var railroad station, takes 33min for 4.80€. The time table is at http://www.voyages-sncf.com. Use "Monaco - Monte-Carlo" and "Saint-Laurent-du-Var." Unlike bus stops, train stations hardly every move.
