What parts? How many of you are there? What budget do you have?
In Stockholm you can walk most places - I know there are also buses. From the airport we took a cab into town but there is also a train I believe. In smaller towns we always walked.
From city to city one would use train/bus depending on the route - or car. We prefer road trips since you don;t have to worry about train schedules and have the benefits of serendipity.
nytraveler there will be 2 of us. We will be flying in to Stockholm and going to Jonkoping. Then later from Jonkoping to Vetlanda. Thanks for any input.
If you must have a car in Vetlanda, then you might want to drive from Stockholm. Otherwise public transportation would probably be fine.
