What on earth are you going to do in Cornwall for 5 days?
I'm not quite sure what biboburgler is talking about...there is loads to do in Cornwall that could fill 5 days and more! I don't have any personal experience with a tour that originates in London and takes you Cornwall, however, there are some options according to Le Google. It might be worth looking into taking the train down from London or flying into Newquay and taking one of the myriad coach tours. Alternatively, I found this site. A bit pricy but it would be nice to be able to travel around Cornwall in a private vehicle vs. a bus:

childhood and early adulthood memory gets in the way sometimes, maybe something has happened since then??
West County in 5 days makes a lot more sense
Carolebrock, last summer I took a five day tour of CORNWALL and DEVON with Globus Tours. The first and last nights were in London with five nights on the road in West Country. This tour is very popular and I really enjoyed it.
I wrote a rather lengthy trip report of this venture on this forum titled SOLO IN lONDON, MUSEUMS, AND PRIVATE TOUR OF PARLIAMENT. The description of the tour is towards the end.
West Country is lovely....

What on earth are you going to do in Cornwall for 5 days?>>
Bilbo - I've been here 14 years and I haven't seen it all yet. Glorious gardens, miles and miles of coast, Bodmin moor, the beautiful Helford river, charming towns and villages, the mining heritage [a world heritage site now] the Eden Project, the beaches, the county town of Truro, great restaurants, lovely hotels, cosy B&Bs, ..
5 days? - 5 weeks MIGHT just do it.
JanisJ, thanks for providing the link - you are better at it than I am!
Thanks for all the replies. Will take a look at the website.
