bus or car from Granada to Malaga airport

We will be in Granada towards the end of Oct and are trying to decide if we should keep or car and drive to the Malaga airport for a weds 1:20 flight or dump the car on Monday and take a bus on weds. The rate is the same to keep the car since we wind up with the week rate. We won't use the car in Granada at all, just to get there from Rhonda....

the ride looks a bit complex...and my Spanish reading is a bit limited.

thanks

There is 9am ALSA bus from Granada to Malaga airport, arrives 10:45am. Cost 13.5 euros. Whether to use car or not is up to you, if you got GPS ride should be fine. Distance is about 130km.

I drove from Granada to the Malaga airport a couple of years ago and had no problems. Nobody on my trip spoke spanish and we didn't have a GPS either. It was highway driving and tge airport was easy to find. I'd probably keep the car unless parking will be expensive (we had a good rate from our hotel so it made sense to leave the car in the garage while we visited Granada).

Driving to Málaga won't be difficult. The only problem you'll have if you keep the car after arriving from Ronda is where to park in Granada if your hotel is in the narrow streets of the inner city.

Just in case you want to do without a car - did you know that you have three trains daily from Ronda to Granada? The 07:53 arrives at 10:55, the 13:32 at 16:06, the 17:13 at 19:45.

Since you're already paid for, or will pay for, having the car, I would keep it and it off at the airport, as long as the paring charges in Granada are not excessive. It's difficult to beat the convenience of having at car.
