Burgundy and a bit more

We have done a few trips to France and always stay about a month. The trouble is always trying to do and see too much. So we have spent time in Paris, Loire Valley, Normandy, Brittany, Dordogne, Languedoc, and Provence (Gard, Vaucluse and Alpilles) - each about a month and still that was a challenge to not drive too much and enjoy the area we had chosen. Now it is harder. Here is the next plan so please critique.
CDG - Stay overnight before picking up car, drive to Chantilly. and overnight there
Epernay and Reims - 2 nights
Verdun - overnight then Metz and Nancy for 2 nights
Strasbourg for 3 nights and Riquewihr for 5 nights
Vevey 2 nights and Annecy 3 nights
Lyon 4 and Beaune 4 nights
Vezelay 4 and Fontainebleau 2
We have tried many times to work in Les Gorges de Verdon but it is so far from any centre point, so it is out of the mix yet again.
Suggestions? We do have 3 drivers so that helps me a lot. Too many nights in Lyon was a thought.
Thanks for the advice.
