Bunratty to Dublin Airport June 27th

Can you help me with the best way to travel from Bunratty on Monday June 27th to Dublin airport? We would love to take the train to be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery but are open to all ideas and comments. Our flight leaves for Paris from Dublin at 1:40pm.

Thanks so much in advance, I have been struggling with what would be the best option!

Using the train leads to a fractured journey: bus - train - change train - tram link in Dublin - bus to airport. Time is eaten up and, to be frank, the scenery is not wonderful.

Simpler is bus to Limerick; bus directly from Limerick to Dublin Airport. See http://www.eireagle.com/routes/limerick-dublin-airport.

[I haven't checked if timetables suit your needs.]

You need to be in the security line at 11:40 in Dublin. I would not mess around with so many modes of transportation. Take the bus as Padraig suggest.

Another option is to take Dublin Coach's M7 Express Service directly from Bunratty to Dublin Red Cow interchange - and change there to Dublin Coach's airport service for the last kms.
Even if you miss the usually secured connection there, you have an airport Service every 30 minutes from Red Cow,
It's fairly easy to change buses at Red Cow as they stop directly behind each other. But check timetables first if it suits your needs.

The bus is sounding like the best option, what are anyone's recommendations regarding renting a car?
