Hiking.
I would like to take an overnight hike in the Rila Mountains Seven Lakes area
How can I book a hut for the night? Is there a park service I can email or get in touch with? Must I carry my own food and drink or can I purchase this at some of the huts? Must I order in advance?
Any information including good hiking routes would be appreciated.

Hi, you can take a look at http://mountain-guide-bulgaria.com
Information about The Seven Lakes and Rila Monastery is still not available, but soon...
From the village of Sapareva Banya, which is about 70 km away from Sofia, you can take taxi or shuttle to Pionerska Hut. From there eider walk or take a lift to the Seven Lakes area (1,5 hours walk) and do a circular walk there. There is a few huts in the area, but it will be crowded in the high season. You can try to contact to Rila Lakes hut stuff: info@rilskiezera.bg
