BUDMAN: your brunellos list is ready

Budman~I've posted the line-up from our Brunello tasting on the other topics board. Hopefully, some of these wineries/vineyards are open to the public. Certainly, some of the wines will be available at The Fortezza in Montalcino! Cin-Cin. BTW, loved your comment on the "Can't we all just get along..." thread.

Hi budman

You might want to get an extra bottle of wite to go with those crabs you'll be ordering the net time you're in Maryland.

I know Beer's good (of course Bud) but so is white wine.

Ciao.

LN, I have a wonderful Sav Blanc that'll take care of them-there crabs.

Looking for a nice spot in Annapolis with a pier that is not too high up off the water to take the grandchildren crabbing this summer and picnic. Any ideas?

Are you serious? I will have a look round to find a nice dock to crab from. We've done this for years and the dock will be fairly low to the water if it's high tide. : > )

Seriously let me know when you're planning on coming to this area and I'll give you directions to a nice dock and how to get started

Did someone say winery list? Where? How? Tell me quick, dh brakes for Barbaresco's and sometimes for Brunello's, so we need the lowdown. We're leaving next week, point me to that list please!

LN, yes, I'm serious. In the mid-80's when I lived in Bethesda, we used to crab on the Naval Academy grounds on one of the bulkheads. Great crabbing.

I'm looking to mid-July when I think the crabs will be a nice size. Great fun watching the little ones catch those lovely critters.

nina, the post is on the "other topics" board under "Wine'O only" or something like that. I'll be looking for your HD's assessment.

nina, did I say HD? I meant DH. My wife refers to me as HD (husband dearest).

Please let me know how your wine tasting goes. We're looking for a place like that where we can taste for free, then have a nice lunch.

Did you decide and find on a place near the airport for your last night? I'm still open for my last night. Have a great trip.

Budman,

I'll let you know how all our tastings go, if they don't become one big blur after our nonstop wine tasting tour of Tuscany .

No, we still haven't decided on the last night. I have a hotel booked in Rome as a last resort, but I really didn't want to go back to Rome that last night, I would like to try someplace new. Maybe I'll ask the innkeeper where we're staying in Tuscany for suggestions, it must be a local thing, because I can't get anyone here on Fodors to give up any info. Guess no one does it?
