Budget -but nice -Hotel in Bern Switzerland ?
I'e been to Bern, but see that the hotel I stayed in 6 years ago is too expensive for us now. Guess it's the exchange rate - and/or their rates have gone up.
Would like to know if anyone can recommend a centrally located hotel that would go for $150 or less (U.S.) for a double per night? Thinking of going in May.

I stayed at the Hotel Nydeck in September of '05.

I had a single though. The double seems to be in your price range.
It is about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the train station and it's on a bus route as well.
When I went I think the continental breakfast was included.
I recommend it.
