We are spending a night in Budapest and flying home the next morning. Flight leaves at 9:30 am. Assuming we need to stay near the airport to insure we are there early enough. Any suggestions for hotels?

It's only around 10-12 miles to the airport. I would stay in the city abd book a taxi or car service for the morning.
take the rail link
Hi, we were in Budapest a few weeks ago at one of the Marriott hotels, our flight left around 8:30 am and we asked the hotel to arrange a taxi for a 6:30 pick-up. Actually the taxi was early, 6:15 and we were a the airport in 15-20 minutes. We had to wait as the check-in people were not there yet. Personally, see no need to stay at an airport hotel and would consider staying in the city and enjoying your last night in Budapest.
Thanks everyone for the info. I will let my wife know. She will appreciate beinbg able to stay in town.
I also had an early morning flight out of Budapest and stayed at the Marriott on the Danube. Had the hotel arrange for a taxi to pick me up for the ride to the airport.
Don't waste a night at the airport, stay in the city.
We stayed in the city, not a long taxi ride at all.
Thanks a lot. We decided to stay at the Art'otel Budapest.
