We are in Bree Belgium visiting our son, and need to get to Schiphol airport in Amsterdam...any ideas on the best train route..We want to train directly to the airport and maybe stay at the Sheraton..we would leave Sunday, spend the night and leave at 10:00 Mon. morning..
Thanks, Pam Conlan

According to www.ns.nl, there are direct trains from Brussels South every hour at 37 minutes past, stopping in Antwerp and taking 2hr45 to Schiphol. Schiphol is only 20 minutes by train from Amsterdam Central, so if your 10am indicates the time you need to leave an airport hotel to check in, you could stay in Amsterdam itself overnight and have a more interesting evening than in an airport hotel.
