Brussels to Mont St. Michel

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get to Mont St. Michel from Brussels. Any suggestions?

Charlie
Are you driving? If so go from Brussels over to Calais then drive down the Atlantic coast. This will allow you to see Honfluer, the D-Day beaches, and then you can go right on to Mont St Michel. Easy driving, nice divided highway. Pretty sparse as far as population goes. Plenty of service points on way. We did this drive from Brugge to the Mont last November, spending one night on the road between the two points. We stayed at Abbeville, but not by choice. Due to rental car trouble (TWO!! flat tires at same time)had to be towed in and get a new car the next morning. We could have made it quite a bit further than Abbeville the first day.

If by train I can not help there. Have not done that.

I think you have to go to Paris first and transfer to a TGV to Rennes.

Just to concour with Curt (Since he wrote only "I think", I thought you could have some doubts).
