Brussels for a half day

Hello,
I will be arriving in Brussels on Nov. 25 at 7am. I have reservations in Bruges for 2 nights and Paris for 3 nights. I will be traveling with 3 couples.I would like to see a little of Brussels before taking a train to Bruges. My questions are:
1- What to see in Brussels on such short time
2-Trains from airport to city to Bruges
3- Train from Bruges to Paris on a saturday
Thank for any help in planning this. Frank

1) Head to Brussels Central Station, store your luggage at the station lockers. Then walk down to Grand Place (5-min walk), wander around, have some beer and moules frites for lunch.

2) Not sure what you mean... yo're looking for train schedule? Try the Belgian Railway website. There's an English version and very user-friendly. http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/

3) You have several options:
a- take the once daily direct Thalys train from Bruges to Paris
b- take the regional train from Bruges to Brussels, then change for the Thalys from Brussels to Paris (many trains per day)
c- take regional train from Bruges to Brussels, then TGV to Lille, then change for another TGV from Lille to Paris (also many trains per day)

one year I took the train to Brussels for an afternoon trip. I walked about the Grand Place noting the beautiful ornate architecture. I walked into a few art galleries and followed
a group leaving a tour bus into a lace museum. My lunch was at an outdoor cafe. They have wonderful waffles, moules frites
and don't overlook the chocolates, very special. And for beer lovers, you'll be very happy!
