Brugge..Cote Canal or Number 11 B&B

Going to Europe in mid Oct. One stop for 2 nights is a return trip to Brugge. Final choices are Number 11 or Cote Canal B&B. Looking for romance for 10 anniversary...am I looking in all the right places?

This is an old post but it had no responses. Anyone stayed at either one of these B & B's since 2006? These are the two I'm trying to decide between.

Try Sint-Niklaas B&B...we stayed there 3 weeks ago and its very lovely. The rooms are modern, clean and you get a wonderful view of the belfry. Its a mere 2-minute walk to Grot Markt yet very quiet!! Anne is also a wonderful host.

PS. I believed that Number 11 has been sold and won't be run by Annie and husband anymore.

I agree with Joy. I stayed there for a couple nights in May. It's the perfect location with a host and breakfast to match.

I stayed at the cote canal in September 07 with another couple. We had the two rooms pictured on the website. The Clair de Lune and Clin d'Oeil.

Up a very steep set of stairs. The Clin suite on the left and the Clair on the right.

They were so immaculate and the beds were comfortable.

Loved the lady of the house, very nice, gracious person. Extremely helpful with dinner suggestions. There was a great place just around the corner.

I have been to Europe 8 times, never less than one month and someties for 6 weeks. I have stayed in many places and this is definitely one of my top picks if not my favorite place to stay for comfort, privacy, clean, reasonable as the euro can be, and convenient to all of Brugge. A very nice breakfast too.

You would have no regrets.
