Brittany/Loire itinerary - 2 days from St.Malo to Poitiers

Jump to last reply

We are heading from Normandy for 2 days' drive through some of Brittany, to the far western portion of the Loire (taking in the Abbey at Fontevraud and maybe Chinon) on way to Poitiers at end of second day. Our preliminary thought: go through Dinan, toward Carnac (want to see the stones) and overnight near there. Then continue toward western Loire and down to Poitiers second night. Question: what do you think is time to allot for quick driving visits to various towns that first day, bearing in mind we are fine with blink visits? St. Malo and Dinard on way to Dinan? Quimper on way to Carnac? I know this all sounds like too much, so will weed some out once we know what to not miss. Thanks.
