Starting to think about our annual October GTG...
The holiday this year is oct 14, so I suspect the GTG will be Oct 11-13. While we often consider other dates, people seem to prefer this particular weekend.
I'd appreciate any suggestions and feedback which you might wish to offer as we begin to think about what to do this year??
Friday dinner??
Saturday GTG location and type of meal (we try to avoid a room charge)??
New saturday night dinner location or change of cuisine??
Suggestion for talking points for Saturday (i'll try not to screw it up this year)??
It's always so great to see people from years past, but even more fun to meet new folks..

the dates are now firm...Oct 11-13, 2013.
Today we selected Jasper White's Summer Shack in Dedham, MA as the site for our Saturday night dinner... We will enjoy the freshest fish and seafood, plus clam chowdah. Other options available too.

Hi Bob: what were the locations last year? I'm can't lay my hands on the info at the moment, and all those towns near you sound about the same to me!
It's a tough weekend for us, so much going on, but I'm thinking the trophy needs to be passed on!
By the way, if we can get there, really liked that hotel last time - was it a Residence Inn?
