Borghese Gallery Restrooms/ Best route to and from the Gallery?

It's getting close and I can't wait! I have multiple questions about my Borghese Gallery/Colosseum day. Thanks in advance for any help.

Our aptmnt is in via della croce (few min from Spanish steps). I reserved the Villa Borghese Gallery for 9-11 am. We need to be on the reserved line by 8:30 am.

The initial "plan" was to relax in the park after the gallery, picnic and then go late afternoon to the Colosseum but we came into a scheduling snafu (long story, perhaps amusing for a trip report one day) and ended up with underground tour for 1 pm (used coop culture). No worries, we"ll be in Rome!! But I do need to get to the ticket line at 12:15ish to pick up reserved tickets and meet the guide at 12:45


Questions heading to Borghese Gallery from apartment:

1. Is 1 hour sufficient to stroll to Borghese Gallery from our apartment without it being overly tiring? Seems like it is located on the other end of the park. I have older parents with me and don't want tire them too much with the Colosseum/Forum/Palatine Hill still ahead of us.

2. Take a bus instead? Fastest route?

3. What is the earliest cafes/stands may open for coffee or pastries? Which is the closest one to the gallery besides the one indoor?

Restroom Questions: With this new "plan", there is no time to go back to apartment before going to the Colosseum. So bathroom break will have be at the Gallery if needed.

4.. Are the toilets fairly clean or should we wait to use elsewhere? My DD when she was 2 would walk in and right out of bathrooms... Nothing's changed 13 years later so I must ask.

5. Will we be ushered out immediately at 11 am from the building or will they allow us to use the "toilets"? Or do I tell my family to stop viewing a few minutes early and use the restroom?

Question for getting to the Collisseum:

6. What is the fastest/least tiring way to get to Colosseum from the Gallery since the rest of day will have plenty of walking? What is the latest time I should leave the park to get to the ticket line around 12:15ish?
