Bordeaux: north side parking, then public transport to the center?
Having just seen how easy this is in Toulouse, with their metro, I am wondering if it is similarly easy in Bordeaux. I see that Bordeaux does not have a metro as such, but a tramway system. Does anyone know a good stop on the north, with adequate parking? What stop should be the one for the historic center? Thanks.

The logical stop for the center is the last stop which is in a park. The tram will follow the waterfront, giving a nice view of some of the classical buildings.
This will be the end of the line:

I stayed right near the stop at Quinconces park and that's very convenient for walking around the center, it's only a few blocks to TI, Opera, etc. Several lines meet there, also.
The Bordeaux tramway system has a page with all the parking garage info near tram stops, some are by subscription, but this link should be open to all the public

Les Aubiers or the stop after Cracovie on line C seem to have a lot of places.
