Bolzano to Compatsch by public transport how to do

My husband and I will take the train from Milan to Bolzano. From Bolzano we need to know the best way to get to Compatsch by public transportation where our hotel is.

The SAD timetable does not have an English version.

Any help will be appreciated

Which Compatsch:
at Seiseralm (short ride, very easy)?
in the Samnaun Valley (a bit longer, with 3 changes)?

I did this last week - the Hotel's response was "We'll send a cab to Bolzano for you - for 50Euros!"
Now what do you suggest?

'Now what do you suggest.' No need to get snarky.

I don't have know the are but i an trying to give you some ideas until someone who does can help you.

I would personally just email back and turn down the taxi and ask what bus to take from Bolzano.

Or I would search other hotel sites in the town and see if any post information about public transport.

Hopefully someone can give you more specific advice...if you clarify the location neckervd might be able to help.

Before booking a taxi, you may also have a look at the bus timetables, lines 170 and 179. Change at Seis/Siusi or Kastelruth/Castelrotto

Thank you very much, neckervd
This is most helpful. I believe we are at SeiserAlm if that is where Compatsch is.
I have researched further and learned that the bus station is very near the train station in Bolzano. It is helpful to know which bus lines to check.
