We are thinking of taking the lake boat 'Puijo' from Savonlinna to Kuopio, staying on board at the end and spending the night in cabins on the boat.
Has anyone out there done this trip? And if so, what are the cabins/food like?

UK Trip, Final Chapter

I did this trip some years ago. The cabins are very small and simple, but I don't remember any problem getting to sleep. There are two categories, with the cheaper cabins on the lower deck and the better cabins on the upper deck. The restaurant is on the main deck and has a fairly extensive range of dishes. There was also a sauna.
