Hi to All ![]()
We are planning to visit Iceland over New Year's and are wondering if the Blue Lagoon is safe for toddlers what with the hot water temperature....Does anyone have any info on this? I have sometimes seen signs near jacuzzis and spas here in NYC warning of the dangers of the heat for little ones and so I'm a bit concerned. Being that it will be chilly, the Blue Lagoon is high on our list of Must Dos...
Thanks so Much,
lisa

I didn't see any toldlers when I was there...and the temperature of the water as you get close to the water vents can be VERY hot!
The water would be over their head, but as long as you don't mind holding your child, I don't see a problem. Don't get too close to the heat source and you will be ok.
lisa, have you gone on your trip yet? i am also planning a trip to iceland with a toddler and wanted to know what you thought, or any other places that are a bad idea or a must-see with a toddler. Thanks for any advice you can give.
