Blogging LIVE! from Europe, STARTS TODAY!

Hi everyone, remember I will start blogging LIVE! from Europe today at around 6pm Eastern. My first blog will be from Newark Airport (OK that's not Europe) before my departure.

Remember this year there are 2 blogs... Be sure to bookmark them.

November 14-19 "i heart london"
http://richardab.typepad.com/iheartlondon

November 19-27 "i heart paris"
http://richardab.typepad.com/iheartparis

I leave for the airport in about a half hour.

Join me, and don't forget to leave a comment so I know who's there!

Corinne, I am coming to Paris in Feb/Mar. How is Dijon at that time of year for a day trip?

Hi Kay and welcome to fodors. ><

I'm glad YOU are courageous enough to go to Dijon ;-) Richard said it is too far!! (yes Treesa he refused!)
What about his motto on his blog "I want to go everywhere I've never been" (maybe he knows Dijon already then..)

Anyway it is hard to predict the weather at that period of the year. In March it is like a lottery, at the beginning of the month I took pictures of people sitting at terraces in front of the Ducal Palace, drinking and talking. But it can be quite cold as well.
You can always find a shelter in churches (Notre Dame, St Bénigne, St Michel..) and museums (the Fine Art museum, Magnin museum so pretty, Life in Burgundy museum, the archeological museum..) the covered market and so many others things I forget. (Richard won't see all that )

As you are new here, I'm sure you don't know my pictures yet
