Bletchley Park
We will be in London for 6 days (leaving on the 7th day) in early June. My husband would really like to visit Bletchley Park. Is this a reasonable day trip from London and what is the best option for transportation?

Easy walk from the train station. We took a free 1 hour tour at noon; we received free tickets for the tour about 30 minutes before when we entered The Mansion. Only had time for 3 hours but could have stayed at least 4 - 5 hours. Be sure to "listen for historic sounds" when walking near the Mansion and around the garden area. Only a few in our group caught them.

Bletchley Park is an easy trip from Euston Station, and it's eligible for the 2FOR1 offers:

Doesn't take all day, unless you want it too.
Have you seen "The Imitation Game?"

Bletchley Park is an easy day trip from London. We did it two years ago. We spent the entire day because we also walked up the road to the National Museum of Computing which was very interesting as well. Take the earliest train you can get so you can be at Bletchley near opening time (our train was delayed so we arrived later than anticipated). At Bletchley they give a very informative tour of the buildings.
