Biking Trips in Croatia, Self-Guided or Independent
Has anyone done a Croatian bike trip that was either self-guided with van support or did part of your trip include some biking that you arranged on your own? We are wondering if it is easy to make our way around on bikes or do certain cities lend themselves to biking once you arrive--not everyday has to involve biking. There are many full tours available but we like to having the independence to dine and tour on our own. Thanks for your help!

It is guided and you stay on a boat each night.

In looking at these two options, one is not in English and the other is a fully escorted tour. What we are trying to find is a company that provides van support to move your luggage but doesn't need to bike/tour with you. We are pretty comfortable traveling on our own so a more independent set-up is our desire.

Some of the bike routes are in English, so I thought that might be helpful. My thought was also that you might contact the site administrator, perhaps he will give you information in English as he did for me. You are going to have to track down a specialist to answer this.
Alternatively, I would post on the bike forum at Thorn Tree, however, what you will mostly find there are people who carry their own gear.

We hve not biked here, but we did a bike trip in Germany that was organized by the regional tourist office. Basically what they had arranged was that the owner of each night's hotel would take our suitcases to the next night's lodging.
It would seem to me, if you can find good rental bikes, and this is key you could arrange to have your luggage transported every day. Find a hotel that has English speakers, and then see if they could call a taxi each day to drive your luggage. If you can figure out your own routes from the website, then you could plan how far you want to bike each day and make your hotel arrangements accordingly.
