Beware the Sixt Claims in Spain

Jump to last reply

Marriott hotels hired me a Sixt car in March this year which they initially paid for. What a disaster!!!!
The car was damaged and Sixt claimed I did it, but the car was clearly damaged before I hired it. Sixt would not accept my evidence and charged me £300 excess regardless then pursued us through their legal process. At no time was my concern escalated as requested, there was no customer service and they purposely used delayed letters of response to trigger their legal team. They know full well that it costs more than £300 to go back to Spain to fight it and prove your innocence.

I am disgusted with Sixt in Malaga and would NEVER EVER use SIXT ever again. Beware .. the cost of hire is the least of your worries.
