Hi,
I'll be at London in May and my flight is in Paris. I'm planning to extend my trip by a few days - any suggestions?
Should I
1) spend more time in London (I'm already spending 4 nights there) and take any day trips
2) spend more time in Paris (I'm also spending 3 nights there) and take any day trips
3) day trips from these areas, or
4) Go Brussels/Bruge
I'll be traveling alone, female and Asian and any help (suggestions as to itinerary or hostels) would be useful
Safety, budget, ease of traveling are top concerns. I speak only English.
I'm planning to travel from London to Bruge and do a hit and run on Brussels (via train) .. and perhaps go back to Paris for a few days?
between Paris and London

UK Trip, Final Chapter

Go on line and watch "In Bruges" then book a day there, drop Brussels. Yes to day trips, Giverny by train and bike makes for a good day out.
Just saw this from stevetx thought of you http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/interactive/2013/jan/18/map-england-travel-guide
Have you been to either London or Paris before? If not you barely have enough time to scratch the surface in either city.
>>I'm already spending 4 nights there<< sounds like you think that is a lot. It isn't. How many is a 'few days'? Unless you are talking about an extra week, I'd just add a bit of time to Paris and to London.
Change of plans - will make a new thread!
