Best Western vs Tourist Hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland

Jump to last reply

We will be staying in Lucerne on May 28th night. I booked a room at 2 different hotels, the Best Western Hotel Rothaus, and the Tourist Hotel. The Best Western is supposedly 5 minutes walking distance from the train station, just a few minutes from the old town. The Tourist Hotel is said to be about 15 minutes walking distance from the train station, situated right on the river. For either hotel, we will take a taxi because of our luggage, so the distance won't matter much. I was wondering which one would be the better place to stay at, then? I still have over a week to cancel one of the bookings.
