Best Website to pre-book Doge's Visit
I'm leaving for Venice in 46 days, not that I'm counting or anything and want to reserve my ticket for the Doge's Secret Itinerary. I found several different websites that seel the tickets.
Anyone who has in the past bought their ticket through a website, was was the URL? What website do you think is the most reliable?
Thank you,
Lynn

I emailed my hotel concierge to have them make a reservation for an English tour. No cost to make a reservation, no international phone charge, nothing to pay until I show up, and no mark up or service charges. The hotel sent me back a confirmation code with which I went into the ticket booth, bypassing a long line and obtained tickets.

You can book your tickets directly for the Secret Itineraries tour on the official website-Musei Civici Veneziani-Secret Itineraries Tour here:

Here is the link from the Doge's Palace, Venetian civic museums website, (which takes you to the link I provided above):
http://www.museiciviciveneziani.it/f...ione=biglietti
The Venetian museums website explains your options-you can call, (which is the equivalent of a booking charge, since you have to pay for the call, and wait) or you can use the website and book your tickets (it will take you to an encrypted site).
I've used this website twice to book the SI tour-it works fine, and you have your confirmation of payment by email, which you take with you.
