Is there a good comprehensive website that I can go to find out what's going on in Paris as far as live music at bars/clubs, theater, opera, concerts, outdoor events etc?

I'm so bummed that The Fly opera is going to be over by the time we get there, it got really interesting reviews. So I guess I'd like to see if I can find some other interesting shows.

Where is this found, at a newspaper stand? Airport? Train station?

There are lots of 'news kiosks' on the sidewalk, and also shops that have the Pariscope magazine, for about 1/2 euro.

Pariscope is (was in May) 0.40 Euro and comes out each Wednesday, covering Wednesday through the following Tuesday. It is a valuable resource for the info you are seeking.
