Hi Again,
I have searched train & bus websites to try to work out the best way to get to Torino from Stresa - do I really have to go back to Milan (for train) or are there better options?
I'd appreciate any advice!
Cheers, Ozlinz

There is a weekday regional train from Torino to Stresa with no changes departing at about 5:00 p.m. It takes about 2.5 hours, costs 10,50 euros and does not go through Milan.
Thank you Dukey & Jean!

I think the OP is going from Stresa to Torino.
In season, there are also some bus options. The Alibus (April/Sept) from Stresa to Milan Malpensa airport where you can change to the Sadem bus to Torino.
***By bus
(50m, 9€). From April to September take the Alibus shuttle for Stresa. The service has a timetable (6 journeys a day), but you need to book the day before.***
