Best way to travel from Germany to France to Switzerland to Austria

Hi This is our first time to Europe ( In Sep) and would appreciate advices on the most economical way to travel to the above countries, like type of pass, any budget B&B to recommend, places must visit, food must try, thing must buy, especially important things that we need to take note of, one thing I learnt is must remember to validate the pass, cultture on tips etc.

We are one couple age around 60 with a daughter of 22. This is our travel plan
Flight : 1st leg : Singapore to Zurich (stop over) to Frankfurt
last leg: Budapest to Zurich (stop over) to Singapore
Sep
6 to 10 : Frankfurt to Offenburg/Baden-Baden/Gengenbach (Germany -black forest)
10 to 12 : Black forest to Strasbourg (France)
12 to 14 : Strasbourg to Colmar
14 to 17 : Grindelwald (Switzherland)
17 to 19 : Lucern
19 to 21:Innsbruck (Austria)
21 to 24 : Salzberg
24 to 27: Vienna
27 to 30 : Budapest (Hungary)
