We are traveling to Copenghagen mid-May and thinking of adding a few days in Oslo at the start. What's the best way to travel between the two cities?
Planning to fly to Copenhagen from Dusseldorf, but haven't bought the tickets yet. So maybe fly into Oslo, out of Copenhagen.

I'm planning a similar trip in May 2012. I think the best to choices would be to fly or ferry.
There are overnight ferries between these cities. DFDS Seaways is just one company that does this route.

Depending on what accommodations you chose, prices for a one person / one way overnight ferry trip (Copenhagen to Oslo) in May run from EUR 136 to EUR 512.
I also did a quick search on the SAS website for a one way flight (Copenhagen to Oslo) in May and found a fare for EUR 56.44. The flight takes 1:10.

I’m not crazy about flights, but the time and money saved convinced me to fly.
Thanks Markaphx!
Not crazy about flying either, but we're looking to save where we can. This is probably going to be the most expensive vacation we've ever taken.
