Best way to procure Fulham FC football tix for 12 February match

Hi:

I know about buying from the club online, but it looks like you need to be a season ticket holder or member with a certain number of loyalty points. Have checked out Viagogo.

I need 5 tickets. Are there every same-day tickets for (typically) sold-out venues like Craven Cottage?

Any advice is welcome. We land in London 9 February and leave 16 February (so our original plan of seeing QPR-Reading match fell through).

Kate

If money is no object - there are hospitality group packages -- probably a few thousand £££

Fulham is not a typically sold out venue, unless the match you choose is one of the more sought after. This is the case with this game against Liverpool. In any case, Fulham's website indicates that the maximum number of tickets you can buy is 4.

The site also indicates that hospitality for this game is sold out, so no good there. There is a ticket exchange in the UK called viagogo, where tickets are sold for certain clubs at a 25% premium:

http://www.viagogo.co.uk/fulhamfc?PC...FCECC7621B9F-5

Unless you can get tickets via this route, you will be reduced to buying from touts (scalpers) outside the ground and getting 5 tix together will be very difficult. If you check viagog, do it soon, as tickets will disappear very quickly.

The other option is to Email or phone the club, and ask them.
This is not as blatantly obvious as it seems. When the club I support was in the top division they would occassionally have tickets available for fans who would have been unable to make long term arrangements. Unfortunately 5 tickets might prove a little difficult.

The way Fulham are playing they should be paying you to watch.

That's a good idea, willit. Might try that.

willit..not sure that a random phone call would be successful for tickets for a Liverpool game, when they could probably sell them twice over.

Fulham place Liverpool on Wednesday 12th Feb. if you can get tickets it would be worth the entrance fee just to watch Suarez at the moment.

It will not be easy, had it been a smaller ways club you could have bought away tickets.

I think you will find that with the Engish Premier League anything is possible, the only issue is price. As Janisj says, if you really want to go some agency, somewhere will sell you a deal.

Ist4football have tickets from £95 which is bonkers but it is London.

I know this doesn't help with the specific request for tickets on the 12th, but my general tip for people wanting to catch a premier league match is weekday evening FA Cup replays.....easiest to snag by far.

West Ham games when Big Sam plays his third eleven are never a big pull.

"West Ham games when Big Sam plays his third eleven are never a big pull."

But you are likely to see a lot of goals

OK, here is another question.

How difficult are Millwall tix to get? I mentioned to my DS17 the difficulty of getting tix to any Premier League games while we're there. He said he just wants to see a live English football match. As an avid reader of FourFourTwo, he is up to speed on his FCs. Much more than his old mom. So Millwall is playing at home on 15 February, which is the day before we leave.

Millwall's crowd is notoriously rough. And if he's that into reading the 4-4-2 site, he'd want to see Suarez.

(1) Why not try the West Ham match on the 11th? At least that's EPL and considering both the Hammers and Norwich City are near the drop zone, the match should be hot - some team would be real pleased to pull all three points.
(2) Does it have to be 5 of you? Thinking if this is mainly for the boy, then (a) you'll have someone who is less than interested, (b) 5 is a tough group to keep unified.

I agree - are some of the others not as gung ho about a football match? It will be much easier (no matter which fixture you choose) to get 2 or 3 seats instead of 5.

The hubs and the three boys are all into it. I guess I wouldn't have to go, but I do like the sport myself. However, I could make a sacrifice.

Thanks for the advice. We'll check out West Ham.

I'd give the ticket office at West Ham a ring and see if you can buy tickets from them and collect them on the evening of the match.

You will need to arrive earlier at the ground if you can do that, to allow for queues at the ticket office.
