Best way to get to Miramare in Positano

From what I have learned, I can arrive in Positano via bus or boat. I'll be staying at the Hotel Miramare, and my question is with a 2-3 bags, which is the easiest way to get to the hotel ??

Hi D.

The SITA bus stops on the road above the town.

The boat arrives at the dock at the bottom of the town.

Is it just you with 2-3 bags?

Hi Ira,

It is actually my wife and I with 2-3 bags (1 large 2 small). We are mid 40's in good shape, we can handle the bags under normal conditions.

So I guess my question: Is it easier to walk down the steps from the bus stop, up from the dock, and with there be porters available at either location if necessary.

Thanks In Advance

If you arrive by boat, there are many strong, young men waiting to carry you and your bags anywhere you want to go. There is no 'charge' per se. We used their services and gave them a tip. Very fast and efficient.

OR if you arrive by bus, the walk down is very scenic.
