Best way to get from the Nice/Cote d'Azur airport to Cap Ferrat?

Jump to last reply

My wife, our two kids (12 & 8 years old) and I will be arriving at the Nice/Cote d'Azur airport. What's the best way to get to our rental apartment in Cap Ferrat? (We arrive @12:30pm on a British Airways flight).

My wife--who prides herself on being the adventurous one--says we should take a train or the bus..and that it's a great way to see the local sights/mingle with the locals, etc.I on the other hand think that we will all be pretty tired from a 2-transfer flight from New Mexico (O'Hare-Heathrow-Nice)..and that we should just shell out the $$ for either a taxi or a car-hire service. I'm telling her we can do the bus/meet-the-public thing once we settle down for our nine-day stay.

I know there's a train that runs from the airport to Beaulieu--sounds like we'd have to catch a cab or bus from there to the Cap. And I believe there is a bus which runs from the airport to Beaulieu.

Your thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
