Best time of year in Italy

Jump to last reply

Just looking for opinions...

we are beginning to plan a trip to Italy and looking for the best time of year to go. When it's not to0 hot, but not too cold...things are blooming or changing colors.

Is it different in different parts of the country? I live in louisiana; so when it is hot in NO, I am almost certain it is still hot in Shreveport. :)

initially we thought we'd go mid-late march--early april ish, but that's not set in stone...

thanks in advance for your input!
