Best Neck Pillow

I've developed neck/back problems, so on my neck overnight flight I need one of those neck pillows. I thought inflatable would be best, so ordered the "Komfort Kollar"

Unfortunately, it has some awfully rough seams that are sure to scratch me. I am reconsidering the inflatable thing too--I pack light so I can fit a neck pillow into my carry-on. Any suggestions?

Wow, I would never think, looking at the picture, the seems may be rough! For that much money!

I got Eagle Creek which I can blow up as tough or soft as needed. Wash the cover after every trip. Fold down and keep in the carry-on till settle into the plane seat. Also use on bus tours.

The only thing I don't like about this pillow (probably all of them feel that way) - the neck gets hot, so I have to take it off for a few minutes every now and then to cool down.

Don't buy the Rick Steves inflatable travel pillow. It's just plain weird. I bought 5 of them and no one will use theirs but me and I, too, think it's weird.

I just take a regular old cervical collar (the foam rubber type, available at any large drugstore) with me. I don't pack it, I just loop it around the strap or handle for my suitcase.

I got the inflatable one from Eagle Creek and love it and I've had many others but this one works best.

Hi

I too have travelled with a back problem. I have used the inflatable neck pillows but don't find them very comfortable. I then found the Cush pillow - http://www.abackrubco.com/index.asp?...amp;ProdID=146. This made such a difference. I used it on the plane and for my lumbar area on coaches etc. It's super light, easy tp pack or carry and helps the injury by keeping it warm. It was so comfortable I actually slept on the plane for the first time ever!! I now use it when driving (for lumbar support).

I clicked on that ad's link. Got a picture of a regular roll pillow that is sold for $11.95, and who knows how much delivery/handling is, and sold for $3-4 at every Walgreens.

actually I did NOT know that and i am sorry I was trying to help.. And the products I was showing are not like every other item you can find in Walgreens..and they are 10 not 11.95.. They are handmade and custom printed... but I feel that you would be negative to anyone just because you felt I was just trying to advertise. Actually I was trying to help.. But thanks anyway. I will not advertise in the future as I know NOW it is not allowed!!
