Best Modernista sites - Barcelona

Jump to last reply

I am planning a short stay in Barcelona. Just basically two days. (I am not counting the day of arrival as I know I will be brain dead after the flight so I am just going to walk around and explore, no major sites!)

I have been before but it was for a cruise and we didn't tour any of the Modernista houses or the park. We did do Sagrada Familia and I will be returning! I LOVED IT! I felt like it was one of the best cathedrals ever (and I have seen a lot of the biggies in Europe :) )

But timing, and funds, are limited. The sites are costly and I think trying to shove them all in would create "overload" where things blur together.

So I am assuming that it's basically half a day in Sagrada Familia (it took me a few hours last time and I didn't do a tower which I am going to try and brave this time. I don't like heights, but..... ) .

So if you had to pick two other "top choices" which would you take?
