Best means of travel in Italy

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are in the process of planning a trip to Italy for the first time and could use some guidance in the best way to travel from city to city. We would like to go to Rome, the Amalfi Coast - Amalfi, Capri, Naples, Sorrento and Positano (not necessarily in that order, and then down to Calabria - Acri, Cosenza. We were thinking of a tour company since we have never been to Italy or any of Eruope, but we would prefer to go at our own pace and spend as much or as little time as we choose. Also, I am not an early riser. Any help and feedback would be greatly appreciated.
