Best Hotel Choice In Paris

Hello all. I am on my way to Paris in a few weeks. My personal assistant has made all of my arrangements but I am a bit concerned over the choice of hotels.

Since I am forced to fly business class rather than first(seems first was all sold out!) I know that I will not sleep too well on the plane (those tiny business class seats just make it so difficult!).

Therefore, I want to make sure that my hotel will be quiet and I will be able to take a nice nap before my dinner reservation at Tour d'Argent. Right now Felix (my personal assistant) has made reservations at both the Ritz and the Bristol, one of which I will need to cancel. Any suggestions from those of you that have stayed at either?

Also, please recommend a good car service in Paris. I prefer to use one that provides either Mercedes or Rolls-Royce motorcars. Any ideas on a good service?

Thank you all so much in advance for your input.

Not even a good troll! A bit heavyhanded with the ersatz-elitism.

I feel sorry for you Charles. Hope you can have a financial success this year so that you can travel in style. I gave up getting stuck in even first class commercial flights by chartering my own plane. I keep it on call year round in case I feel the urge. Staying in those tacky hotels got to me too. Would you believe I had to push my own elevator button in the Ritz??? So I bought a chateau just to the west of Paris which my staff keeps perfect for me. And Tour d'Argent. Please!! Didn't you know no one eats in public restaurants these days. There are wonderful chefs in Paris who will come to your chateau (oh, dear, I forgot you don't have one) and prepare a wonderful meal for you. It is also sad you have to travel in a rented car. I couldn't stand the thought of someone else's cigarette smoke or perfume scent in a car, so I buy a new Bentley each time I travel to Europe. Here's hoping you can have a more successful year so that next year you can travel in style, not like the peasants.

Pardon me for asking Charles, but please enlighten me. If "Felix" handles everything for you, I must ask why he isn't posting your question. I find it hard to believe you would actually deign to touch a lowly keyboard. Or perhaps your keyboard is platinum with diamond trim?

Sorry darling, your attempt at trolling was a bit too obvious. Was this a class assignment? If so, it's a D- at best.

Must run. My champagne is chilled and my caviar is waiting. ;-)
